We're sorry to see you go. If you wish to delete your Costa Negra account and all associated data, please follow the steps below.

How to Delete Your Account

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. 1. Log in: Open the Costa Negra app and sign in to your account.
  2. 2. Settings: Navigate to the Settings tab in the bottom menu.
  3. 3. Delete Account: Scroll to the bottom and press the Delete Acc button.
  4. 4. Confirmation: A confirmation dialog will appear. Read the information carefully and press Delete to finalize.

Important Requirements

Active Bookings & Rides

You cannot delete your account if you have active bookings or rides. This is to ensure that other users are not left without their scheduled transport or passengers.

Please cancel all pending or confirmed rides/bookings before attempting to delete your account.

Data Retention Policy

What happens to your data?

Once confirmed, your profile and personal information are immediately removed from active use. However, to comply with safety regulations and prevent fraud:

  • Your past bookings and ride history will remain in our secure database for 90 days.
  • After this 90-day period, all remaining data associated with your account will be permanently deleted.
